I Found My Outlet

Once you find your outlet you must "glom" onto it. My outlets are riding my gravel bike and writing. I joke when I am going out for a ride that I am going "writing" not riding. Even if I write in my own head it is still an outlet for me and I feel it is important I pursue it as much as possible.

The past year has been a bit overwhelming for my family and inner circle so my solo, birthday ride across Alabama did not happen.....YET. HOWEVER, over the next several months I will be visiting special spots and explore them on my bike to uncover their history and how they have been put to a new use....historical new beginnings. Finding a common thread between past, present, and future......and ultimately community.

So there you have it; my love for adventure cycling, writing, history, connection, and community all in one spot. I am ecstatic to have guest riders with me along the way! You will be hearing their stories, as well!
